Asbestosis

This is caused by breathing in asbestos fibres. The more exposure you have to asbestos, the more likely you are to develop asbestosis. It generally causes breathlessness, crackling of the lungs, wheezing and tightness in the chest. It will be diagnosed with the help of a CT scan or biopsy.

There is no cure for asbestosis, treatment is available to relive the symptoms of breathlessness
